*All performers work as sub-contractors and must fill out an “Application for Adult Entertainment License” and “Criminal Check”.

We’re always looking for responsible, professionally minded individuals to join the Sundowner squad. Dancers, security, bar and kitchen staff; if you think you have what it takes give us a call, or email us your resume. All dancing applications must include age and photos.
For the entertainers who are from out of town, a variety of hotel and transportation discounts are available.

Please note that you are required to provide the following information (in person) prior to being hired:
- Legal Name
- Current Address
- Former Address (if changed within the previous 2 years)
- Proof of Age
- Two of the following documents: (i) Birth Certificate, (ii) Baptismal Certificate, (iii) Drivers License, (iv) Passport, (v) Social Insurance Card.
- Reminder that jewellery, large chains, sunglasses etc must either be tucked in or taken off while working.
- Completion of verification form Criminal Background Check
- Dancers / Performers must print and fill out and submit the Adult Entertainment License Application
IMPORTANT
You must have a valid dancers license. If you have a license that expired March 1st 2020, licensing has extended that until August 28th.
Option A: For those without a valid license you must obtain a criminal background check from the city in which you live in.
Option B: If your local police station is not open, you may obtain your own criminal background check by clicking here.
To prepare for doing this on your own, you will need a credit card. You will also need to take a picture of your identification. (Drivers license, front and back. Passport upper and lower portion that contains your picture).
NOTE: Photos must be extremely clear or it will delay processing and your clearance. (Under proper conditions, it will only take roughly one hour. Low quality photos can take days).
Option C: Should you not have access to a credit card, the Sundowner will do a criminal background check for you. If option C is your only option, you should come to the venue at 6pm to make sure you can work that night, as the licensing department will be there until 9. If your clearance has not come in by 9, you will not be able to work.
For those of you getting your background check through the police stations from the city you live in, please bring that with you to the Sundowner, followed by other valid ID. We are accepting driver’s licenses, passports, and status cards. No other ID’s will be accepted.
For those that are doing it through Verifications Canada, it will be sent to our email when you put the name of the organization as “The Sundowner” in the application.
For license renewals, you are to come to the Sundowner on Friday’s between 6-9pm. Licensing will be there to issue you your new license so you can work. The licensing fee is 250.00.
